In this economic climate, there has been an increasing interest in Do It Yourself weddings. A ton of new DIY Wedding sites are popping up all over the internet and couples are finding new and creative ways to plan their wedding without the use of professional services including professional photography.
People commendably find ways to save money every day. However, depending on the task, we need to seek professional help. I’ve heard and experienced many situations where people decided to take on a task that they should have at least consulted with a professional, and later paid a much higher price for not doing so.
I will admit, many professional services are expensive, but there is always a way to use their service or consultation and still save money.
We’d like to hear from you how you’ve saved money on your current/past Do It Yourself wedding or event and you’ll be entered in our portrait giveaway. Just leave a comment to this blog post by May 31st at midnight (PST) and I’ll pick a winner to announce on Friday June 3rd on Facebook (limited to southern california residents).
